Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Muskegon, MI

I have stayed many nights over the last few months as a travel nurse. All staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is standard hotel food, no complaints there. I am terrified of bed bugs so I always inspect my rooms. Lift mattresses, shine flashlights, the works. I have not found any bugs in this hotel. My rooms have always been clean. The pool area is huge with a hot tub and different games, a kids paradise no doubt. The rooms do show a bit of age but for the price and convenience, I have been very happy.

Joseph and rest of staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean. However hallways wreaked of cigarettes and Marijuana. My tv was on when I got to my room. Shower curtain rod was bent down so shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. The body wash container was empty and left on side of tub. Same was true of both my daughters rooms. Hotel is old and could use updating. It was quiet, pool area was clean and grandkids enjoyed the arcade games. Breakfast buffet offered something for everyone and staff did a great job keeping it stocked. We would stay again.

Rooms were comfy but needed more thorough cleaning. The pool atrium was really neat and has arcade for kids and adults. The staff was friendly and breakfast area had plenty of room and felt warm and welcoming. Perfect location next to Trinity Medical center.

good coffee and breakfast. very clean. front desk people were great. planning on staying there next year.

The service was great big pool and hot tub the gym didn’t open but the nice front desk lady stopped what she was doing and opened it up for me

Came in late at night and lucas was absolutely excellent. Great service. Clean rooms. a great night's sleep. I know this is a two star hotel, but it should have better rankings. I slept so well that when I woke up, I thought I was home literally.I'm not even joking. Thank you so much.

Shower is slippery. Textured floor or grab bar would be safer. Nice selection of breakfast items, however I never did get a waffle due to people allowing their children to make their own and monopolized that area. The cook did his best to keep up with supplying the rest of the buffet. Nice pool area. I am a Choice Privileges member, but there were no perks there for membership.

We had a room by the pool side. Very clean. I was offered help in by staff when they saw me carrying multiple bags. Front desk was nice, even when my teen asked a dumb question. Most of the breakfast was good. The bad: The issue is there was 2 sets of curtains. 1 heavy that was designed to only close 2/3 of the way. The second was a medium sheer curtain that closed all the way. Only you could see through it when at the pool if there was a light on in the room. Also it allowed a bright light at the pool to shine on the face of the person in the second bed all night. The biscuits at breakfast were dry and did not crumble like they were fresh or even semi fresh. The gravy was more like a gravy jello. Eggs tasted good but room temp.
